All are beautifully maintained and have boat ramps, tennis courts, walking trails and playgrounds for children. The city of Deerfield Beach holds weekly dances on the beach with live entertainment in the summer. There are also several special events during the year, and other activities such as children’s lessons, activities and sports. More than fifty golf courses dot the area, and all types of fishing is available, including deep-sea, drift boat and fishing off the pier.
